A TEACHER who admitted sexually assaulting young boys in his care has been jailed for three years.

Nicholas Quest was charged with six counts of indecent assault.

The 56-year-old, of Linden Grove, Gosport, pleaded guilty to all of the offences, which took place from September 1, 1976, until June 14, 1989, when he was a teacher at Boundary Oak boarding school, Wickham Road, Fareham.

He joined the school in 1976 and has since retired on health reasons following an investigation being launched into his behaviour.

The youngest victim was just seven years old.

Today at Portsmouth Crown Court he has been put on the sex offenders’ register and banned from working with children.
