Teen fined for L-plate loss

A TEENAGER has been fined after an L-plate fell off his motorbike.

Surin Crossland, 18, of Pimpernell Way, Waterlooville, pleaded guilty to driving the 125cc motorbike in Craswell Street otherwise than in accordance with his licence.

But Fareham magistrates did not endorse his licence as they found the L-plate had come off during the journey.

Crossland was still fined £40 with a £20 victim surcharge for the October 19 offence last year.
