A TEENAGE girl suffered injuries after being hit by a car while out delivering pizza on a push bike.

The Fareham teenager had been cycling on the Red Lion roundabout in Stubbington at 8.20pm last night when she was hit.

A sliver car coming from Gosport – with the girl travelling from Stubbington – hit her and then the driver drove off.

A Hampshire police spokeswoman said: ‘The female cyclist, who is from Fareham, was delivering pizza at the time.

‘She had travelled from Stubbington Village and was on the roundabout when her bicycle came into contact with a silver estate car which had approached from the Gosport direction.

‘The girl fell from her bike into the road but thankfully sustained only minor injuries.
