A GIRL with links to Portsmouth has been missing for 15 days.

Police have renewed an appeal to locate 17-year-old Phoebe Taylor, who was last seen by her family in Buckinghamshire on August 27.

The teenager lives in Village Road, Whelpley Hill, but it is believed she travelled to London with friends and was last spoken to in the Tottenham Court Road area on Wednesday, August 29.

There has not been no contact with her since and police officers are ‘very concerned’ for her welfare.

Police have described Phoebe to be 5ft 5ins tall with red hair, and when she was last seen, was wearing long, colourful trousers with flowers and a white top. She also had a suitcase with her.

While Phoebe was last believed to have travelled to London, it is understood she has connections to Portsmouth – as well as Welwyn Garden City, Brighton and Chelmsford.

Investigating officer, detective inspector Mike Anderson, said: ‘We are very concerned for Phoebe’s welfare.

‘No contact has been made with her since 29 August, so it is extremely important that anyone with any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, gets in touch with us.

‘As part of this renewed appeal, we are issuing a new photo of Phoebe. Please share this picture and our appeal on social media, as it could be vital in helping us to locate Phoebe.

‘Phoebe, if you see this appeal, please get in touch. We need to know that you are safe.’

Anyone with any information should call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101.
