A 17-YEAR-OLD man has admitted robbing a convenience store worker with an imitation firearm for £30.

Will Haddadou, of Copnor Road, Portsmouth, yesterday pleaded guilty at Portsmouth Crown Court to charges of staging a robbery at the Mini Mart, in Copnor Road on November 7, and possessing an imitation firearm.

The court heard how he threatened a man working in the shop with a BB gun, pretending it was a real firearm.

The case was adjourned for a psychiatric report to be written with the sentencing due to take place on February 14.
