Teenager airlifted to hospital after motorcycle crash in Waterlooville

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a crash resulted in an 18 year old woman sustaining serious injuries.

The incident took place on College Road in Crookhorn at around 2.15pm.

The crash involved a motorbike and a Ford Transit van.

Whilst the van driver was unhurt the teenage motorcycle rider had to be airlifted to Southampton General Hospital..

Investigations into the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing, and officers would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened.

Officers would also like to hear from motorists who were driving in the area and had a dash cam, as they could have captured something that could help the investigation.
