A 13-YEAR-OLD boy has been arrested in connection with a burglary in West Sussex.

Detectives have questioned the boy after a garage in Marisfield Place, Selsey, was broken into and a black M2R miniature motorcycle was stolen.

The boy, from Selsey, has been released on bail until October 8, pending further inquiries.

PC Andy Rawlinson, from Selsey Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: ‘We are keen to hear from any witnesses who can assist with the investigation. Marisfield Place is the road at the side of East Beach shops and is a busy through route for residents living in a large part of Selsey. If you were passing and saw anything that might help then please contact Sussex Police.

‘A green plastic bucket was found at the scene and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen someone carrying an item like this.’

He added: ‘I would ask that residents lock sheds and garages whenever unattended.’

The burglary happened at some point last weekend. Call police on 0845 60 70 999.
