POLICE are hunting a man who robbed a teenager of his clothes at knifepoint.

The 17-year-old was walking along North Street, in Emsworth, close to Tesco, when he was approached by a man and threatened with a large knife.

The boy was led into Seagull Lane and told to hand over all his property. When the victim explained he didn’t have anything he was forced to take off this clothes and give them to the suspect.

The man then got into the passenger seat of a small hatchback car that was parked at the entrance to Emsworth railway station which drove off towards West Leigh.

Det Con Simon Poulter said: ‘This is a serious incident and we want to track the offender down as quickly as possible. Fortunately, it is also very rare and this kind of robbery is highly unusual.’

It happened at 11pm on September 30.

An e-fit has been released of the suspect who is aged around 27, 5ft 8ins, of stocky build, tanned and clean shaven with brown eyes. He wore a white Adidas hoody and blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms. Call police on 101.
