A TEENAGE boy was punched in the face by two people on bikes who took his phone.

The attack happened in Little Shore Lane, Bishop’s Waltham, just before 2.30pm on Saturday, May 24.

The 14-year-old boy was left with bruising and cuts to his forehead when the pair punched him and stole his white Samsung Galaxy phone.

Investigating officer Det Con Steve Brown said: ‘We believe a number of people were walking in the Shore Lane area at the time and other people may have come out of their houses.

‘I’m especially keen to hear from people leaving Jubilee Community Hall at the time.’

Anyone with any information is asked to call Winchester police station on 101.

n A 16-year-old boy from Portsmouth and a 17-year-old boy from Southsea have been charged and remanded in relation to this incident. They are due to appear at Fareham youth court on July 11.
