SHOPLIFTER Terry Parkes has been told to stay in at night.

Parkes, from Allaway Avenue, Paulsgrove, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to stealing more than £110 of cheese from the Co-op on Copnor Road, Copnor, Portsmouth while subject to a community order.

Parkes was given a curfew ordering him not to leave him home between 7pm and 7am daily for six months by Portsmouth magistrates.

The 27-year-old was put under supervision for 12 months.
