A WOMAN who stole alcohol has been jailed.

Kim Johnson, 29, of Hyde Park Road, Somers Town, took alcohol worth £161 from Marks and Spencer in Portsmouth on November 11.

She admitted the crime in front of Portsmouth magistrates. They jailed her for 30 days, as she had committed 28 similar offences.

She must pay an £80 victim surcharge and a £150 criminal courts charge.
