SHOPLIFTER Paul Drury has been fined.

Drury, from Talbot Road, Southsea, pleaded guilty to stealing a bottle of cider and a bottle of wine worth £6 from Lidl in Goldsmith Avenue, Southsea, on November 13.

The 45-year-old also admitted committing the crime while subject to a 12-month conditional discharge for a separate alcohol theft.

Drury was fined £25 and told to pay £15 to a fund for victims of crime by Portsmouth magistrates. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge.
