A FLAT-screen television was stolen from a house in a daylight raid.

Police are appealing for information after the theft from a home in Mays Lane, Stubbington.

It happened at some time between 10am and 3pm on Tuesday.

The burglar got into the house through a back window.

A Logic 19in flat-screen television and a Panasonic Lumix FS35 camera were stolen from 

PC Paul Rogers, from Fareham police station, said: ‘There have been five reported burglaries close to the town centre in Stubbington since the end of April.

‘These are possibly linked and I would appeal to anyone with information that could assist us to contact us.

‘I’d also like to remind residents to close all doors and windows when your property is unoccupied and to be especially careful when leaving doors open while gardening.’

Anyone who saw the burglary or who has any information should call PC Rogers at Fareham police station on 101.
