PCSO Hollie Cartwright said: ‘These kind of thefts are predominantly opportunistic, whereby offenders will target those who have purses on display or bags that have been left open. Therefore we kindly remind everybody the key crime prevention advice when handling money whilst in public place.’

A Hampshire police spokesman added: ‘Enquiries ongoing for all.’
