A SERIAL shoplifter has been given a community order.

Sadie Ellins, of Cheltenham Road, Paulsgrove, admitted stealing clothes worth £350 from Peacocks in Fareham on September 30.

The 23-year-old also pleaded guilty to stealing £110.96 of fragrances from Superdrug in London Road, Waterlooville, on October 5.

And Ellins admitted stealing £508 worth of clothes from Peacocks in Park Parade, Havant, on October 8.

She also pleaded guilty to committing the crimes while subject to a conditional discharge for stealing £352.50 worth of clothes from H and M in Commercial Road, Portsmouth, on August 8 last year.

Ellins was given a nine-month community order by Fareham magistrates.

She must also pay £200 compensation.
