SHOPLIFTER Andrew Trivelloni has been ordered to get treatment for his alcohol addiction.

The 34-year-old, from Common Street, Landport, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to stealing food worth £3.58 from the Co-op store in Isambard Brunel Road, Portsmouth, on March 28.

Trivelloni also admitted stealing £3 worth of DVDs from the Poundland store in High Street, Salisbury, Wiltshire, on March 6.

He was given a community order by Portsmouth magistrates stating that he must undergo treatment for his alcohol dependency as a non-resident patient for nine months.

Trivelloni was also ordered to pay £100 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
