A MAN who burgled a men’s shed group has been jailed.

Corbey North, 23, whose latest address was givenin court as Ibis Hotel in Fratton Way, Southsea , admitted burgling Copnor Men's Shed on March 31.

He stole three Ryobi drills worth £450.

Another man was previously sentenced for stealing tools on the same day.

North was handed a 24-week jail term by Portsmouth magistrates. But with other offences he was jailed for 30 weeks overall.

North admitted stealing food worth £30 from Aldi in Portsmouth on July 9.

He admitted breaching a suspended sentence handed to him for five shoplifting offences and breaching a criminal behaviour order in Andover.

North admitted stealing £546 worth of clothing from Marabella's Boutique in Portsmouth on August 8.

He also admitted stealing alcohol from Falcon News in Lake Road on July 22.

He must pay a £115 victim surcharge.
