COPPER thieves stole a metal cylinder worth £100 from the front garden of a house.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a theft at the house in Limekiln Lane, Bishop’s Waltham.

A 7.5-tonne lorry was seen to park outside the house at around 12.50pm on March 14.

The flatbed lorry had a garden shed on the back of it.

Whoever was in the lorry went into the front garden of the house and made off with a copper cylinder.

One of the suspects was white and stocky with dark hair.

There may have been other people with him.
