Third woman arrested following double stabbing in Southsea

POLICE have arrested another person in connection with a double stabbing in Southsea.

Detectives investigating the attack of two men who were found in Somers Road with stab wounds on Friday, have arrested a third woman.

It comes after officers previously arrested a 35-year-old woman from Portsmouth and a 26-year-old woman from Southsea. Both have these suspects been bailed until April 26.

A 50-year-old man received life-threatening injuries and a 31-year-old man sustained serious injuries.

The latest person arrested is a 35-year-old woman of no fixed address, police have said.

Officers are still looking to find two men who were seen running away from the area at the time of the assault.

They were described as mixed race and black, in their 20s and wearing tracksuits.
