A TOOTHPASTE thief has been fined after stealing from a pharmacy.

Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court heard Clinton Holley, 35, stole 12 mini-packets of Colgate toothpaste worth £15.60.

He took the items from Rowlands Pharmacy in Fratton Road, Fratton, on June 1.

Holley, of Festing Grove, Southsea, must pay a £50 fine and a £150 criminal courts charge after pleading guilty.

Magistrates detained him in the courthouse.
