Tributes paid to man who died in crash near Marwell Zoo '“ REGIONAL

The family of a man who died in a crash near Marwell Zoo have said he will be '˜sorely missed'.Â

Cory Martin, 27, from the Boyatt Wood area of Eastleigh, died following a collision in Fishers Pond, Winchester. 

Police were called at 6.06am on Friday (November 16) to the B2177 Portsmouth Road, near the junction with Thompsons Lane which leads to Marwell Zoo.

The crash involved a involved an Orange Renault Megane and a black Alfa Romeo.

Cory was driving the Renault and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Alfa Romeo driver, a 23-year-old man from Curdridge, was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment to potentially life-changing injuries.

Cory's family have released the following tribute: '˜R.I.P. Cory Martin.'
