Two men charged with attempted murder after incident in Petersfield

TWO men have been charged with attempted murder following an incident in Petersfield earlier this week.

The incident, which took early on Wednesday, May 20 in Durford Road, left a man in his 30s with several wounds.

Police said he is stable in hospital.

Shaun Hanson, 49, of Fern Close, Petersfield, and Anthony Seymour, 22, of Rival Moor Road, Petersfield, have been charged with attempted murder and will both appear before Basingstoke Magistrates Court today.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 101, quoting the crime reference Operation Sash.
