Two teenage women, 19, appear at Portsmouth court charged with sexually assaulting man by 'slapping his bottom'

TWO teenage women have appeared in court charged with sexually assaulting a man by slapping his bottom.

Hannah Phillips and Scarlett Bareham, both 19 and of Timsbury Crescent, Bedhampton, were charged following an incident in the Guildhall Walk area in late summer last year.

No pleas were entered to the charges and they were bailed to appear again at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on August 18.

Bareham is also charged with affray.

A third defendant, 19-year-old Fiona Hoyle, of Cleveland Road, Southsea, appeared in court charged with affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in relation to a woman. She is not charged with sexual assault.

She was also bailed to appear at court next month.
