A DRINK-DRIVER caught behind the wheel while twice the legal alcohol limit has received a two-year ban from the roads.

Luke Chinery, 28, of Shopwhyke Road, Chichester, admitted committing the offence in Tournerbury Lane, Hayling Island.

A test revealed his breath contained 94 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mcg.

Chinery was ordered to do 96 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £385 in court costs by Portsmouth magistrates.
