JEWELLERY was stolen when burglars got into a home through an open ground floor window.

The crooks entered through the bathroom window on the side of the house in Brook Lane, Fareham, between 8.20am and 1.40pm on November 25.

A fake leather box containing 10 sets of cufflinks, several pieces of costume jewellery and a black Canon camera were taken as they ransacked the house. They left by unlocking the back patio door with a key left on the side.
