UPDATE: Body found in search for missing man
Police seeking a man who disappeared from his Portsmouth home say they have found a body.
Colin Rones, 51, was last seen at his home in Bransbury Road, Eastney, at about 1pm yesterday.
Police now say that they have found a body in Eastney.
A Hampshire police spokeswoman said: ‘The family of 51-year-old Mr Rones have been informed. Formal identification has yet to be completed.
‘At this stage the death is not being treated as suspicious.’
Earlier today police said it was out of character for Mr Rones to go missing.
