POLICE cordoned off an area in Portsmouth last night.

Officers were at Somers Road, in Somers Town, although they have not released details of the incident.

There are unconfirmed reports that two men have suffered stab wounds and been taken to hospital.

Ambulance services attended and a police van, a police car and several officers were at the scene.

The area that was cordoned off is the junction of Somers Road and Winston Churchill Avenue, outside the KS Convenience Store.
