A SUSPECT scratched a man’s face before fleeing a car park where cars and mopeds had their windows smashed and tyres slashed.

Two cars and two mopeds – which also had their seats slashed – were vandalised in a car park in West Street, Fareham, just after 7am on November 28.

‘The suspect, however, was able to get away but caused a scratch to the employee's cheek and chest. Both injuries were minor and the victim did not seek medical assistance,’ a police statement said.

‘The suspect is likely to have run in the direction of the Tesco supermarket in Quay Street. He is described as wearing dark clothes and a face covering.’
