Drug runner lost ‘half his face’ in turf war shooting jurors told

A 53-YEAR-OLD man returned home to discover his home was being burgled.

The crook forced his way in to the property in Swanwick Lane, Swanwick, while the owner was out.

The owner returned and heard a loud bang from upstairs.

The man ran upstairs, where he discovered a bedroom window at the back of the house had been opened.

When the victim looked out he spotted a man climbing the garden fence and fleeing.

Items stolen from the property in the burglary, including aftershave, foreign currency and an iPod shuffle, were later found nearby.

Now police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about the burglary, which happened between 7pm and 10.45pm on Tuesday, June 12, to come forward.
