A MAN was punched and kicked in a vicious attack by a gang of youths.

The 20-year-old was walking along a cycle path under a bridge near Rowner Road and Turner Avenue in Rowner, Gosport, when he was approached by the trio.

They set upon him, kicking and punching him before fleeing the scene at 3.30am last Friday.

He suffered a bloody nose, chipped tooth and minor cuts and bruises in the attack.

PC Matt Morgan said: ‘This kind of crime is completely unacceptable and we want to trace those responsible as soon as possible.’

The suspects are all white and in their late teens to early 20s.

One wore a blue hooded top with yellow writing on the chest, blue jeans and plimsolls.

One wore a white hooded top with black writing on the back and black tracksuit bottoms.

The third suspect wore a black hooded top and a black baseball cap with a gold sticker on the underside saying ‘59/50’.

He also had a nose ring and his bottom lip pierced.
