PEOPLE are being reminded to lock their doors and keep their valuables hidden following a burglary.

Police are warning residents to take security measures after the burglary in Westlands Grove, Portchester.

It happened over the weekend with a handbag containing a purse and other personal possessions believed to have been stolen.

Anything suspicious can be reported to 101 and if anyone suspicious is seen entering a property people can call 999.
