Warning after fake leather jackets sold to elderly in Fareham

FRAUDSTERS are selling fake designer jackets, police have warned.

PCSO Bob Shailer, based in Fareham, said trading standards in Hampshire had reports of the leather jackets being sold out of the back of cars. He said: ‘In particular, it appears the sellers are targeting senior residents.

‘The jackets are described as Italian leather, and carry trade marks such as Armani. These goods are known to be fake.’
