MOPEDS and motorcycles have been stolen from residential areas.

Police in Gosport are warning people to be vigilant after a number of thefts in the Bridgemary and Rowner areas of Gosport.

Officers are reminding people to park their motorcycles in busy areas, to fit an alarm and a secure lock and to not leave a helmet with the vehicle.

Anyone who sees suspicious activity should report it to police on 101.
