Warning after vans targeted by thieves in Fareham
POLICE have issued a warning after five catalytic converters were stolen from vans in Segensworth last weekend.
The vans targeted were all Mercedes Sprinter Vans. It is believed the catalytic converters were taken as they contain small amounts of three precious metals – platinum, palladium and rhodium.
Fareham West Neighbourhood Policing team urged van drivers to take care, park in garages and to record the serial numbers. Call police on 101 with information.
