RESIDENTS are being urged to keep their properties safe as the weather gets warmer.

It comes as three burglaries have been reported in Gosport in the past week.

All three incidents happened during daytime hours.

Police are warning people to ensure their houses are securely locked and all windows are closed when they leave.

Anyone who sees anything suspicious or thinks a crime is being committed should call 999 in an emergency or 101 for a non-emergency.
