POLICE are reminding people not to leave valuables in cars.

Officers have put out the warning as many beauty spot car parks in Hampshire and West Sussex have reopened following the winter period.

A Hampshire police spokesman said: ‘Police officers will be patrolling the car parks in both marked and unmarked vehicles offering crime prevention advice and to provide a visible police deterrent to any would-be thieves.’
