Warning to passengers as Aqua Cars taxi is stolen

People have been warned not to get into an Aqua Cars taxi reported stolen in Portsmouth.

The theft of the vehicle is believed to have taken place in Portsdown Road, Paulsgrove at around 1.30am yesterday.

Police are appealing to anyone who might have seen the blue Skoda Octavia taxi with the registration number HY11 XOB.

The vehicle belongs to Portsmouth-based taxi service Aqua Cars.

Police say members of the public are warned not to use the taxi.
