MOTORIST Heath Bater was caught driving while more than three times the legal alcohol limit.

The 51-year-old, of Saxon Close, Warsash, admitted driving a Honda in Warsash Road, Southampton, after drinking too much.

A test revealed her breath contained 117 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mg.

She was put under supervision for a year and told to take part in a drink-impaired drivers programme. Bater was banned from driving for four years and told to pay £85 by Fareham magistrates.
