WATCH: Prisoners created mannequin challenge in jail

A video has emerged which appears to show inmates at a West Sussex prison doing the mannequin challenge.

The clip shows four prisoners apparently posing inside a cell at Ford open prison near Arundel with dance music blaring while being filmed by a fourth man.

One prisoner in a tracksuit appears to be swigging from a glass with a large wine-type bottle in his hand, while another is on a phone with a can of drink in his hand.

It is not clear when the video was filmed, but it was uploaded on to an Instagram account called HMP Ford’s Finest on Monday

The Mannequin Challenge is a viral Internet video trend where people remain frozen in action like mannequins while a moving camera films.

The cell in the clip contains a stereo and Xbox controllers, and two of them men are wearing dark glasses.

The film appears to have been filmed on a phone smuggled into the Category D men’s prison.
