SHOTGUNS, air rifles and handguns have so far been handed in during a police weapons amnesty.

Hampshire Constabulary is now reminding the public about the ongoing firearms surrender campaign this week.

The campaign runs until Friday and is an opportunity for the public to hand in weapons and ammunition. A number of weapons have already been handed in, along with ammunition.

To surrender a weapon or ammunition, the public can send an email for an appointment to firearms.surrender@hampshire.pnn.police.uk or call 101.
