SHOPLIFTER Matthew Perry has been jailed.

Perry, 25, of Blackmoor Walk, West Leigh, admitted stealing a tablet computer worth £135 from Sally’s Computer Services Ltd in Leigh Park.

He also pleaded guilty to stealing two legs of lamb worth £27.73 from an Asda store in Havant.

The crimes were committed between January 23 and February 18.

Perry was jailed for eight weeks by Portsmouth magistrates.

He was ordered to pay £135 compensation.
