A MAN who exposed himself to women in a village will be sentenced later this month.

Gavin Pettitt, 26, of Chichester Road, Bognor Regis, pleaded guilty at Chichester Crown Court to two counts of indecent exposure on September 8, 2009, and March 31, 2010.

In the first, Pettitt exposed himself to a 21-year-old jogger in Old Farm Lane, Westbourne, and in the second he exposed himself to an 18-year-old woman in a cycle track near Westbourne Road, Westbourne.

Detective Constable Mark Burgess, of West Sussex CID, said: ‘Officers worked closely to ensure he was charged with these exposure incidents which were very distressing for those who witnessed them.’

Pettitt will be sentenced on June 21.
