This is when teenage boy charged with Gosport murder is due in court
Police discovered the body of Dr Barry Hounsome, 54, at his home on Southcroft Road on Monday (October 29).Â
The 16-year-old boy was arrested and later charged with murder in connection with the death.Â

Hide AdHe was remanded into custody and is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court today (November 2).Â
Dr Hounsome was found dead at the property he shared with his wife economist Natalia Hounsome.
He was an academic who had lectured at universities including University of Southampton and had also worked at Bangor University, Wales.Â
Dr Hounsome lectured in health science and has conducted studies into diseases including Parkinson's and dementia.

Hide AdThe University of Southampton confirmed Dr Hounsome was last employed in 2014.
It is understood he carried out work at the Faculty of Health Sciences at Southampton General Hospital during his time at the university. Â
