Woman, 21, stabbed after row in Wimpy at Funland amusement park on Hayling Island

A WOMAN has been stabbed after a row broke out an amusement park burger bar.

The 21-year-old was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham after a '˜domestic dispute' between two workers at Wimpy at Funland Amusements on Hayling Island.

Police were called to the scene shortly before 3.30pm yesterday after reports of an assault.

They confirmed a woman had suffered stab wounds in an '˜isolated incident'.

A 20-year-old man from Havant has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.

Officers, who are continuing to investigate, said the woman's injuries are not life-threatening.
