A WOMAN pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer.

Jade Rothwell, 23, of Blendworth Crescent, Havant, committed the offence in Bedhampton Way, Havant, on April 21.

The 23-year-old was handed a curfew order stating that she must not leave her home between the hours of 6pm and 6am for two months.

Rothwell was ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge by Portsmouth magistrates.

She was told to pay £50 in court costs.

However magistrates made no order for compensation.
