A WOMAN has been arrested after her car collided with the front of an NHS facility.

Her Honda saloon hit the front of the Osborn Centre, off of Osborn Road in Fareham shortly before midday today.

The 46-year-old was arrested in nearby Palmerston Avenue a few minutes later on suspicion of causing criminal damage. She is currently being questioned by police.

No-one was injured during the crash.

Crews from Fareham, Cosham and Portchester fire stations were also called to the scene, but they did not need to take any action apart from making sure the building was safe.

Although the damage was cordoned off, the building was able to remain open for patients.

The building houses adult mental health services for Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Staff at the Osborn Centre would not speak to The News.
