A WOMAN who harassed the family of a missing toddler denies breaching a restraining order given to her earlier this year.

Donna Wright, 33, of West Cornforth, in County Durham, was told not to contact the Gosport and Hartlepool-based family of Katrice Lee.

She pretended to be the missing girl, who vanished on her second birthday in Germany in 1981, and sent the family abusive Facebook messages.

She was due in court yesterday but did not appear.

She will now appear at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court on December 17 to set a trial date.

In March at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court, Wright was handed a 12-week jail sentence, suspended for 18 months, with supervision. It is now alleged she contacted Katrice’s father Richie, of Hartlepool.
