Woman in Fareham released after being caught with class A drugs

A WOMAN caught in possession of class A drugs by police has been released without charge.

The 32-year-old woman was arrested as part of a day of action on Friday, September 7, after police found 12 wraps of class A drugs.

She was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

She has since been released without charge '“ though police say she remains under investigation.

Posting on social media, Fareham Police explained the decision, saying: '˜The seizure and arrest are all part of the results from the day of action.

'˜With regard to the arrest we need to ensure that we have obtained all relevant information before we consult the CPS about any subsequent action that is required.'
