District judge Anne Arnold jailed Collins for 18 weeks at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court

The judge said the offence was serious and that the counterfeit notes ‘undermines the whole economy of this country’.

Collins must pay an £80 victim surcharge.

The notes will be forfeited and destroyed under a court order.

Collins also admitted breaching a community order for theft.

Her guilty plea was taken into account by the judge when she was sentenced at the court last month.
