A VILLAGE road rage attack resulted in a car being kicked and scratched.

A disagreement broke out between two drivers in Barry’s Meadow car park, near to the doctor’s surgery, Titchfield.

A woman in her mid 50s, who was driving a large blue 4x4, possibly a Land Rover Discovery, got out of her car and shouted abuse at a 29-year old man driving a smaller blue Suzuki wagon.

The man did not get out of his car, although he has alleged the woman kicked his car and tried to remove the wing mirror. An elderly gentleman with a distinctive beard was a passenger in the woman’s car.

Police are now investigating the incident at 12.30pm on Friday, October 26. They say witnesses may recall a screeching of tyres or raised voices.

Anybody who witnessed the incident is urged to call 101 and ask for PC Sharman.
